daybreak Source on GitHub

Your whole morning, in one message.

Daybreak checks your calendar, your school assignments, the news and your projects, then sends one message with what matters today. Try it with your own details below. Every field except one goal is optional, and nothing you enter is saved.

What do you want to learn about?

Each goal gets a fresh article and a 15–30 minute task. Describe what you want out of it so the tasks fit you.

Your schedule (optional)

Paste private calendar links to see your real day. They're read once to build this preview and never stored.

Practice and projects (optional)

You'll get one short exercise a day. Type “LeetCode” to get a coding-interview problem with progress tracking.

Smarter picks with AI (optional)

Add your own free Gemini API key from Google AI Studio and Gemini will choose the best article for each goal and write tasks around it. Without a key, you get the newest article and a simpler task. Your key is used for this one request only.

Takes about 5–20 seconds. Nothing is stored or logged.

How the real thing works

1Runs on its own

A scheduled GitHub Action runs every morning for free. No server, and your laptop can stay closed.

2Reads what you already use

Your calendar and school assignments through private calendar links, news through RSS, and your projects through GitHub.

3Lands on your phone

One Telegram message at 7 AM, plus a short evening check-in if something is due or unfinished.

Want this every morning? Set up your own copy in about 20 minutes.
